Mr. Chris James, President & CEO of the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development will be the February 16, 2018 Chamber Networking Luncheon speaker.

He will give the latest information on economic development in Indian country and will share information on the RES 2018 Conference in Las Vegas. The RES Conference is one of the largest gathering of American Indian business owners, tribal enterprise CEO’s, and corporate leaders.

The luncheon will be held at Casino Arizona Eagles Buffet Banquet Room. The lunch will begin with registration at 11:30 a.m. with the program beginning at 12 noon and ending at 1:00 p.m.

Mr. James will also share information about their Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) and their Native Edge created to provide business and career training.
Mr. James brings a professional record that spans small business operations, tribal economic development, and senior positions in the federal government. Mr. James served as Associate Administrator at the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), where he was a Senior Executive Service appointee of President Barack Obama overseeing both the Office of Field Operations, Office of Intergovernmental Affairs, and the Office of Native American Affairs.
He worked six years at the SBA as a Program Manager at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, specifically within the Community Development Financial institutions (CDFI) Fund. His extensive portfolio includes Native American outreach, program management, and tribal consultation.
